Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: October 7, 2026. Last updated: October 7, 2026.
In short: use the tool to understand your own documents. Do not submit things you are not allowed to share, do not try to break or overload it, and do not pass off its output as legal advice.
This Acceptable Use Policy is part of the Terms of Use for the Contract Explainer (the "Service") operated by ParqueMedia LLC. It describes what you may not do when using the Service.
1. Unlawful and harmful use
You may not use the Service to:
- violate any law or regulation, or any right of another person;
- draft, refine, or conceal fraudulent, deceptive, predatory, or unlawful agreements or terms;
- harass, threaten, defame, or harm any person;
- engage in the unauthorized practice of law, or present yourself or the Service's output as an attorney's work or as legal advice to others;
- generate content unrelated to understanding a document, or use the Service as a general-purpose AI assistant.
2. Content you may not submit
- content you do not have the right to submit, including documents covered by a confidentiality obligation, protective order, or employer policy that prohibits disclosure;
- privileged communications, classified information, or trade secrets;
- Social Security numbers, government identification numbers, financial account or payment card numbers, passwords, or security credentials;
- protected health information or other health records;
- personal information about children;
- content that is illegal, or that contains malicious code.
3. Security and integrity
You may not:
- bypass, disable, or interfere with usage limits, rate limits, or security features;
- access the Service through bots, scripts, scrapers, or other automated means, or call its server endpoints other than through the Service's own web page;
- probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service without our written permission;
- attempt to extract, reveal, or override the instructions given to the AI model, or submit text designed to manipulate the model's behavior;
- reverse engineer, decompile, or copy the Service's software, except to the extent this restriction is prohibited by law;
- overload or disrupt the Service or the networks and systems it relies on;
- use the Service to build or train a competing product or an AI model;
- resell, sublicense, or commercially exploit the Service or its output.
4. Our providers' rules
The Service relies on third-party providers whose own usage policies also apply to content processed through them. You may not use the Service in any way that would cause ParqueMedia to violate those policies.
5. Enforcement
We may investigate suspected violations, block or limit access, and take any other action we consider appropriate, with or without notice. We may report unlawful activity to the appropriate authorities.
6. Reporting security issues
If you believe you have found a security vulnerability, email JDonline94@outlook.com with a description. Please do not access other people's data, degrade the Service, or publicly disclose the issue before we have had a reasonable opportunity to address it.
